HOUSTON - June 6, 2025 - PRLog -- Land Advisors Organization, the nation's largest brokerage firm focused specifically on land, is proud to announce that its Houston office represented the seller in the disposition of 72 acres of agricultural land in Beasley, Texas, that will be developed into a future school and special uses related to schools.
The firm's team of Houston Advisors Duane Heckmann and Designated Broker Kirk Laguarta represented the seller, Elijah Rising (Principal Micah Gamboa) in the sale of the property to the Lamar Consolidated Independent School District (LCISD). The tract is located at the northeast corner of FM 2919 and Battle Road in Beasley, within Fort Bend County, Texas.
"The property, with its 84 acres and aging school facilities, presented significant opportunities but required extensive rehabilitation and development costs. To better align with their mission and financial priorities, Elijah Rising decided to sell the land and redirect the proceeds toward more sustainable initiatives, including relocating the organization's safe homes closer to the city," Heckman said. "The LCISD proved to be the perfect buyer because of their ability to put the site and its improvements to good use."
The LCISD is a rapidly growing school district. The new property was identified as an excellent site for some of the district's student-related activities because of the improved barn and other buildings located on the property.
Elijah Rising, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, excels in providing compassionate care and support for survivors of trafficking. Barkley Peschel and Michelle Soderberg with Colliers International represented the buyer, Lamar Consolidated ISD (LCISD).
The Houston real estate market has always been dynamic, offering unique opportunities for investors. The market is buoyed by continued population growth, increased housing demand, and a shift towards suburban living.
