Koloc family returns to Vanuatu for Dry Creek Rally and Foundation29 projects

Fresh off Buggyra ZM Racing's successful campaign at the Rallye du Maroc, the Koloc family is returning to Vanuatu for the Dry Creek Rally on October 31–November 1.

-- Martin Koloc, CEO and team principal of Buggyra ZM Racing, will compete in the rally alongside co-driver Noah Dinh, while his daughter Aliyyah focuses on advancing her Foundation29 humanitarian initiatives in the region. The visit demonstrates the family's commitment to combining competitive motorsport with meaningful community impact, with Aliyyah's family ties to Vanuatu through her father's side adding personal significance to their work in the island nation.

Martin Koloc will take on the Dry Creek Rally in a Ford Fiesta Proto MK 8 alongside co-driver Noah Dinh. While relatively new to rally navigation, the 17-year-old Vanuatuan brings intimate local knowledge of the island terrain that will be invaluable to the team. He also has strong ties to rallying, with his uncle co-organizing events on the island.

"This rally serves multiple purposes for me," said Martin Koloc. "I'll be competing in the full Vanuatu championship next season, so this is an important first step in getting to know these stages and building experience here. I haven't had much seat time this year, so every opportunity to get behind the wheel counts. Vanuatu offers the ideal setup for training: good weather, close to the sea, and a fast car to work with."

Aliyyah Koloc to support her father

21-year-old Czech-Seychellois rally raid driver Aliyyah Koloc, who competed in the International Vanuatu Rally in August 2025, will be on hand to support her father and continue her Foundation29 work on the island.

"I competed in the International Vanuatu Rally earlier this year, and it's great to be back again," said Aliyyah. "The landscapes are stunning, the atmosphere is laid-back yet competitive, and it's wonderful to support my father while also advancing our Foundation's projects here."

Foundation29: Growing Impact in Vanuatu

Beyond the sporting element, Aliyyah's visit to Vanuatu focuses on expanding the Botanical Gardens of Vanuatu, a key project of her Foundation29 initiative. Founded by Aliyyah on her 21st birthday in July 2025, Foundation29 is a cross-cultural philanthropic initiative focusing on tribal art and cultural preservation, tailored Asperger's support, and environmental protection. The Botanical Garden is the Foundation's first major project.

"I'm super happy to see it growing slowly, and it's always amazing to combine racing with something that makes a real difference," Aliyyah said of the Garden project, which reflects her ongoing commitment to environmental and community development in the region.
